10 Ways With Confetti
There are lots of other ways to utilise confetti than just the traditional throwing over the bride and groom. And with the prospect of a recession looming here are some cost effective ways to use a big bag of confetti.
1 – Make your own confetti cones and fill them from a large bag. This is much cheaper than buying individual cones.
2 – Line a path with confetti, to the church entrance or outside the reception. This makes for a grand entrance if the weather is fine.
3 – Use your confetti to decorate your reception tables. This keeps a theme going and is cheaper than buying boxes of paper rose petals separately.
4 – Use confetti to decorate other areas of your reception venue. The dance floor looks particularly effective with a scattering of confetti.
5 – Use as packing material for gifts for your bridal party.
6 – Add a small amount inside your wedding invitation envelopes to surprise your guests when they open them.
7 – Fill a clear glass vase for a cheap but stunning centrepiece. Your reception venue might even be able to provide the vases for you.
8 – Make your own crackers with confetti inside. These could combine as a table decoration and favour.
9 – Add a small handful inside balloons before blowing them up. Tie a few together with ribbon and use as table centrepieces or just decorate the room with them.
10 – Add a small amount of confetti inside your thank you cards to remind your guests of your confetti filled day!
I bet you never realised how versatile confetti was. It seems like such an appropriate theme to have for a wedding and could really add the wow factor!
